New Life Of Historic Building In China

3andwich Design / He Wei Studio architects presented a restoration project for a historic building in Hongguan Village, Jiangxi Province, China. An old building with a courtyard is located at the entrance to the settlement. It was divided into three parts – the main space, the guest space and the kitchen. The architects connected the three independent zones and floors in accordance with the new function of using the facility as a guest house, later redistributing public areas and residential premises. In addition to 13 guest rooms, the project includes a kitchen, a studio, a chess room, a tea room and a catering area.
