Iron Man has a whole lot of powers at his disposal and can always get himself back into any fight if he has been weakened. A character like him who has been around since the year, 1963 would surely have all his powers and suits improved many times by many writers, especially when the superhero’s core personality trait is “good at building crazy things.”
Well, it seems like if we dive deep deeper into the comics and also the films, the fans will see that the superhero has whole a lot of things going on for him than just a flying suit. In light of this, we have for you 7 superpowers of the Iron Man suit that you may have forgotten:
1. Cryo Beam
The capability to manipulate ice is overplayed in this genre, but when a few of the enemies are known to emit flame, this is useful. This is why a few iterations of Iron Man have the ability change the repulsors and shoot ice cold beams.
In Infinity War, remember when Tony and Spidey had blast Ebony Maw into space? This may have been a version of the Ice Beam Tony had used to seal up the hole.

2. Energy Absorption
Do you remember when Tony had gotten supercharged when Thor had hit him with a lightning bolt? This was a fun moment to see. Iron Man has shown the ability to pull energy right out of his surrounding to charge the suit.
This comes in very handy against many enemies, especially considering half the villains have energy based attacks.

3. Memorize Attack Patterns
In Civil War, Tony had instructed his suit to adapt to the fighting style that Cap had been utilising. It is a bogus that one of the best hand to hand combatants in the world can be trumped just by an algorithm.
In the Civil War event in the comic books, Tony brags about how he was recording all of Cap’s moves since the moment they had met.

4. Fast Reaction Time
When one is up against a super-powered being that can punch you out of space-time, it is a lifesaver to react quickly.
The built-in computer is always feeding Tony data to help predict things and the micro-boosters in his suit aid in moving his limbs at a speed more than a normal human speed.

5. Hologram Duplicates
Since the Mark 3 armour, Tony could put out holograms and make it seems like there are many version of himself. This is a tactic used for confusing the enemy.
The holograms are used as distractions for sneak attacks and escape, and a few later models may have bend light to make Tony seem invisible.

6. Healing
Tony shrugs off the injusry after he had been impaled by Thanos in the movie, Infinity war, which did not make sense. Unless one assumes that he has a tissue generator.
There is a precedent for this since the comic book version of the character can regrow organs because of the nanite technology in his body.

7. Storing The Suit Inside His Body
Tony’s suits are improving every now and then. First, it had fit in a suitcase and then flies across the country for jumping onto Tony.
Seeing this progress, the fans are sure that nobody is surprised to know that the comic book version of the character had invented a version of the suit that can be stored in his bones.
