Deadpool aka, Wade Wilson is a very popular and famous fictional character who makes appearances in the Marvel Comics. He had been created by Rob Liefeld, and Fabian Nicieza and this character had made his debut appearance in The New Mutants #98. Deadpool had initially been depicted as a supervillain when he had made his very first appearance in The New Mutants, and then he had evolved into the antiheroic person he is. Deadpool is a disfigured mercenary, and he has the superhuman ability of an accelerated healing factor and also, physical prowess. This character is well-known as “Merc with a Mouth” because of his tendency to joke and talk constantly.
Deadpool’s popularity has seen the character being featured in many forms of media. In the year, 2004 in the series, Cable & Deadpool, he had referred to his scarred appearance as “Ryan Reynolds crossed with a Shar-Pei”. Ryan Reynolds had then played this character in the X-Men movie series, and had made an appearance in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in the year, 2009 and also, Deadpool in the year, 2016. He has also starred in the sequel, Deadpool 2 in the year, 2018.
