While all the fans tend to associate most superheroes with young, hot and sexy men and women who are all the peak of their abilities, the industry of comic book has been telling stories about the superheroes who are old. The fans have seen what happens when Batman, Wolverine, Superman, and many others have been fighting for way too long. The results are not really that pretty, although at times they are very inspiring. When it comes to The Dark Knight Returns, we saw an aging Bruce Wayne coming out of his retirement cave and haunting Gotham City. The fans had also seen an older version of Superman who served a corrupt U.S. government. Clark is broken in body, but in spirit, he is trying to figure out if he ever helped earth.
