
A few superheroes are seen struggling with ‘aging’ like most normal mortal human beings do. The types and levels of infirmities that are seen hitting an average person hit way harder for a super-strength fighter. For a speedster, running at the speed of sound while aging after running at the speed of light is a terrifying thought. It becomes worse if one is a superhero who has no powers. They cannot rely on their skills the same way they used to when they were younger. In the light of this, here we have for you, 5 superheroes who became stronger in their old age, and 5 who became weaker.
1. THE GOLDEN AGE GREEN LANTERN
The Golden Age Green Lantern had made his debut appearance in All-American Comics #16. The source of power for the Lantern is Starheart, and this is a collection of all energies trapped by the Guardians of the Universe. Scott had merged with Starheart, and this made him physically younger and stronger.

2. DARK KNIGHT STRIKES AGAIN WONDER WOMAN
Wonder Woman is surely an unparalleled house of energy and power, and she had been introduced in All-Star Comics #8. In The Dark Knight Strikes Again in the middle of the story, Brainiac is seen launching an assault on Metropolis, and then, Wonder Woman fights him and is seen to have become way stronger than before.

3. BLACK PANTHER
T’Challa is known to have enhanced physical abilities because of the Heart-Shaped Herb. But this does not make him impervious and invulnerable to damage. In the issue, Black Panther #39 he was seen having a fierce battle with Iron Fist who had become brainwashed. Black Panther suffered a lot of injuries as compared to his previous fights.

4. THE MAESTRO
The Future Imperfect saw the Hulk time-travel into 100 years into the future, and the Earth had been ruled by Maestro. Civilization had become devastated due to a nuclear war, and the Maestro eventually turned out to be the Hulk himself. He has absorbed massive a lot of radiation and become stronger.

5. MC2 SPIDER-MAN
In the MC2 future, that child, May Parker, Peter’s daughter becomes a teenager and a she is also budding superhero. But Spider-Man does not fight with her, and in “Gathering of Five” and also “Final Chapter” crossovers, Spider-Man had a very epic and climactic with the Green Goblin, and in this fight, he lost his right leg and then retired.

6. THE INVISIBLE WOMAN
Things had changed a lot with Fantastic Four #22, and here, Sue Storm had learned to project force fields and also make things invisible. She had eventually developed all her abilities and powers to a level where she was the powerhouse of the team.

7. OLD MAN HAWKEYE
In the bleak time of Old Man Logan, 50 years into the future, Wolverine 66-#72, Hawkeye is seen becoming aged, and also blind. He teams up with Old Man Logan, and they travel across the country for delivering a package.

8. PHOENIX

9. ALL-STAR SUPERMAN

10.CAPTAIN AMERICA
In Captain America Comics [Volume 1] #1, Steve Rogers had gained more than almost 100 pounds of muscle. But then the Super-Soldier Serum was removed from his body, and it was in Captain America (Volume 7) #21 that Iron Nail had shot Captain American with many darts that made him a 98-pound weak person.
