You CAN make money online. Fact. And end of discussion.
Yes, yes… I know you’ve heard it all before. But why don’t you believe it? Let me show you one very basic aspect you are missing, if you think making money online is impossible. And then you can change your mind about Internet Marketing.
It’s called… “vision”.
And it can make the whole difference between going nowhere fast, or joining the new Internet Marketing gurus with money. After all, Internet Marketing is one of the fastest growing online businesses, and gaining momentum at an astonishing rate every single year.
Thousands of people make the internet business their primary form of income, and often make money online in amounts that they could only dream of as slaves to their day jobs. This money making potential explains the immense popularity of why so many home based entrepreneurs are getting into online marketing.
Operating costs are low, and it is easy to run the business from the comforts of one’s own home. Your own hours, coffee galore, and your favourite t-shirt with orange juice stains from 1983.
The risks of an internet marketing business are very minimal, and often there are no losses incurred in an online marketing business. Because you don’t pay for stamps, or faxes, or telephone calls, any action you take to build your online business will not have the same consequences of a poorly operated brick and mortar business, in the case of failure.
So why isn’t everyone ditching their day job, and burning their cubicle in a hysterical rush to become the next internet guru millionaire? Unfortunately, there is a lot of hype and misinformation out there, in terms of Internet Marketing. And because the Internet makes so many resources available to you, it is easy to become overwhelmed with all the information in this whole “damned online business”.
Many aspiring Internet Marketers fall prey to the very tactics they are out to learn. Internet marketing gurus make their money online by sales, as with any business. And the way they do it is, they employ copywriting
in a way that makes their presentations irresistably compelling
Everything online seems to glitter like roads paved of gold.
So naturally, when the discerning new player to the world on Online Marketing starts to do his research, it’s only a matter of time before he’s faced with the black beast of this industry.
Very soon, he will stumble into forums full of disillusioned internet marketers that only lost money, who do nothing but cry about why they can’t make money with an online business, and why it’s all a tangled web of evil lies spun to suck the money out of hardworking (but broke) citizens.
And yet, there are many others who, sitting by their pools sipping a Martini will laught their way to the bank… Because it can be done. And very easily. All you need is to just be aware of the basics, to begin with.
Of course, as with any business, not just Internet Marketing, any online business that makes money requires an effort, and a vision. It is work, yes. But the rewards of running your own Internet Business are very high, and the money making potential is very much alive.
Decide where your strenghts lie, and follow that avenue. If you are a good writer, you may want to consider copywriting, or creating AdWords ads for clients. If you are talented artistically, you may go into graphic design, where the Internet Marketing gurus will pay you a tidy sum for an appealing sales page design.
Perhaps, you have very good analytical skills, and you may take these into tackling the tricky Search Engine Optimisation facets of Online Marketing. And when you do well, you’ll be surprised to find how this “huge” community of Online Marketers is surprisingly small. They will recognise you, your name goes around, and your reputation grows.
Before you know it, you know all of them, and they know you. They provide testimonial for your endeavours, and Joint Venture with you. All of a sudden, you’re in the million dollar club, attending Internet Marketing Seminars around the world, rubbing elbows with the gotha of online success. And it just gets better everyday.
But the important thing, though, is to simply… start!
Don’t get carried away. Keep a vision, be disciplined, stay determined, work at it every day, and increase your knowledge. The more you learn, and the more your focus remains laser sharp, the sooner you will find that you are getting very good at making money online in your niche.
And the next time you read about someone who claims making money online is a joke you’ll be the one laughing by your pool… with the Martini!
